This workshop is designed to provide a
foundation for creating no Fault Resolutions to,
and preventing, diversity problems. It differs
from sensitivity training by identifying
endowments that allow all human beings to
behave in an appropriate manner and to be held
accountable to one set of rules for their behavior.
The participants are asked to identify their
concerns relative to Diversity issues. These
concerns will become the workshop’s objectives.
The information shared in the workshop will be
directed toward addressing these concerns.
What is a human being? Are they as human as
we are? Are we as human as they are, are
questions that we have asked ourselves,
privately, at one time or another. There are
several innate endowments that Human Beings
have that no other creatures have. They are
freedom of choice, independent will,
Imagination, self awareness, and conscience.
These endowments are common to all Human
Beings. We believe that all Human Beings are
endowed with these gifts and that these gifts
provide us with the ability to behave in an acceptable manner. Recognizing the existence
of these endowments in each other gives us the
foundation for respecting one another
regardless of race, gender, or national origin.

After establishing that we are all Human Beings
capable of behaving in an acceptable manner,
and entitled to be respected with dignity, we will
discuss the skill sets that will improve our ability
to relate with one another more effectively.
Those skill sets include an examination of the
basic needs of Human Beings. The reference for
